apparently, i suck cawk tonite. anyone know how to edit video in ubuntu? I have kino installed, but it can't import video from my camera. I have them on the computer in AVI format.

No, just a geek who's never dealt with video before. the really sad part is that i still haven't gotten it. All i wanna do is splice the good non-spai videos from today together, in order, into one big video. it shouldn't be this hard.

As for windows movie maker, that doesn't work on linux yet. i think microsoft is working on it or something. Suspect
I did find something, it just looks like the software i had (kino) doesn't like the format the videos come out of my camera in. I just have to run them through a converter first.
